It's all right to dislike people, Apollo. Lapis is an odd one to understand. I think for her sake, she prefers to focus primarily on what immediately effects her. Since she only has one loved one to speak of on this station, there is little for her to care about.
I sympathize with her, a bit. Even if I do not always understand.
We're all in the same boat, quite frankly. And yet the rest of us still manage to muster up the empathy to give a shit about what happens to each other.
But I guess you're right, there may be more to it than meets the eye.
Not everyone does. I have encountered more than a few people who find it more suitable to be relentless in their dislike of me than even cooperate with me. And if you are truthful with yourself, will you remain empathetic with her?
