stoneup: (Soft and gooey like a cookie)

[The nudging makes him fall easily onto the loveseat, looking up to Alucard once he's on the couch.]

...Yeah.

[He takes a deep breath and sighs it out, watching Alucard's face carefully.
stoneup: (This is a surprising development)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
[He reaches over to draw Alucard close to him.]

No, it was ...

[He nuzzles the dhampir's throat.]

I told him, you know. That I love you.

[It's easier to say the more he says it. Maybe.]
stoneup: (I can do dashing! Look!)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
[Trevor nods.]

I'm not surprised he approves. It -- seemed as much, when we spoke.

[Which is why he'd told him in the first place. Technically he'd just answered 'yes' to the question when asked, but -- it still counted, honestly.]

I'm glad you got to talk.

[He wishes often he'd been able to speak to either of his parents again, one more time.]
stoneup: (One moment.)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
[He drops his forehead down against Alucard's shoulder, letting out a soft sigh.

He's glad that Alucard has had something happen to him that's actually nice, no matter the slight jealousy he might feel.]

Well, apparently anything is possible here.

[For better or worse.]
stoneup: (Good thing I'm a cute drunk)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
[Trevor blinks just a tad owlishly, but twines his fingers in Alucard's and brings their hands to his lips.]

I wouldn't have it any other way.

[He'd never wanted it any other way.]
stoneup: (I can do dashing! Look!)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
Look, I got him horribly drunk, I didn't get myself horribly drunk. That's got to be an improvement, right?

[He squeezes Alucard's hand and sighs, reminded of something that Teddy had asked of him.]

...Ah. With the way the city's been lately, Teddy asked whether you'd be all right with him setting up some spell between our houses to mask our movements. So they wouldn't know if we went back and forth. It seemed like a good idea.
stoneup: (Carefully neutral)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
[Trevor can't help the slight chuckle. He presses a kiss to Alucard's temple.]

I didn't know he could do it, either. He offered recently, but he wanted to make sure you were all right with it.

[A pause.]

You should come for dinner, soon.
stoneup: (And now I regret it.)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Per our last conversation, Alucard, no, I will not be cooking.

[He brings his hand up through Alucard's hair again, feeling the soft locks against his fingers. It's become comforting quickly, holding him like this.

Tenderness like this, it's why it's easier to say things to Alucard that he'd never say to someone else so easily. He at least knows his feelings are true.]

Maybe I ought to learn, though, if I'm really poisoning you all that badly with it back home.
stoneup: (Totally casual all the time that's me)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
On top of my sudden ability to communicate my feelings, you mean?

[He's -- teasing, mostly. He still doesn't think he's all that good at it, but at least he's trying, not just blindly fumbling through like he would've done if it had just been the three of them in Wallachia, existing in the strange vacuum of intimacy that was their life.]

She might faint from the shock.
stoneup: (Well now that you mention it...)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 06:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Almost.

[He pushes aside the desire to say he's sure grown men don't just wake up in the middle of the night breathless with nightmare, still, and instead lets his head tip back as Alucard nuzzles him.

He sighs, his other hand coming to fiddle with the collar of Alucard's shirt. It's absent play, mostly distraction. He doesn't want to leave here for a while, now that the near-silence between them isn't so tense as it once was.]
stoneup: (Some kind of peaceful)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
[The smile that creeps onto his lips is genuine -- softer than most people see, really, even here.

He settles closer, urging Alucard to lean against him. The weight has become familiar, comforting.]

...I'm glad. I'm always sure I'm going to fuck something up.

[Suddenly. Completely. Just like he's always done.]
stoneup: (Am I really sad?)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-17 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)
[There are few things in his life left for Trevor Belmont to cry over.

Feeling accepted, though, really accepted, the way that Alucard is saying -- it makes the corners of his eyes burn, and he buries his face in the dhampir's hair to mask it.]

Then I'll always be a happy man. And you have my word of the same.
stoneup: (So I *was* just drunk! What a relief.)

[personal profile] stoneup 2019-01-18 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
[Trevor's glad for the hand squeezing his, for the presence of everything they have here right now.

He knows it might not last here, might not even carry over to their home, but -- the fact that he has it, at least he knows it's possible.]

Let me take you to bed.

[He shifts, leans in to press a kiss to Alucard's temple. He does just mean 'to the bed', this time -- as much as he enjoys being intimate with the dhampir, right now he just wants to keep holding him.]
