when i got here there were three of them
there's also a fourth guy who's not blood-related but he's

one of them is my grandfather
except it's my grandfather from when he was about my age
he's a loudmouth and an idiot and hasn't changed in fifty years
he disappeared recently but he was here when i got here

another one is my uncle WHO SHOULDN'T EXIST
because apparently my fucking grandfather cheated on my grandma
after fifty fucking years of marriage or something
so there's a kid younger than me who's my uncle because he's my grandpa's son

the girl is
she says she's my daughter
like from the future
and i believe her but she's also older than me so that's kind of crazy
and a lot to get used to

so those three are my family but none of them are really
they're not the family i remember
so it's kind of complicated

but then there's the last guy, mohammed avdol
he's family
he was with us when we went to kill the vampire
he remembers what i remember
