I believe I might have seen another Stand that Jotaro must have encountered in his past that should not have been in that fight. It wasn't Dio's or Jotaro's, that I do know for certain. Maybe you know of it? They looked like tendrils, white with gleaming emerald accents.

No wonder he was so rattled...I wondered what would've shaken him up that he would've foregone the normal 'pretend I'm perfectly fine' bit and allowed you to actually take care of him.
