[ When Alucard arrives, the door's been propped open.
Trevor's apartment is almost exactly as it was when he arrived, give or take a few details. The jacket that Jotaro got for him hangs from a hook on the door. One corner contains a few boxes of noodle packets and a kettle. There are four large bags of dry cat food in another corner. It's clean. He only has one real chair, and the other is an inflatable *BSTB branded horror.
He's trying to figure out how one sits comfortably in an inflatable chair, seeming just a little sluggish and unfocused. Maybe a hangover, maybe the earliest stages of chroma deprivation. Possibly both. ]
[It... certainly is some kind of space that Trevor's occupying.
But then, he knows full well that Trevor's been traveling on his own for years. How would he even know how to live in house, especially so reluctantly? He can understand that.
Alucard cannot excuse that inflatable embarrassment though.]
What the fuck is that? [That is probably not the best greeting he could have, but he's staring at the thing in mild disgust.]
[ It’s a horrible balloon thing that he found, like all of his homewares, in the trash after everyone threw out their *bstb merch. That’s what it is. It;s chair-shaped, vaguely, and it was free. So it lives in Trevor’s living room now, in case of guests.
He doesn’t get guests. ]
You know what a chair is. I’ve seen you with chairs.
That isn't a chair. That's something that looks like someone attempted to describe a chair to another person who had never seen one and then shat out a balloon instead.
[Note to self: get this man an actual chair. That is so embarrassing to look at.]
[ He says it firmly, in the same way he might say that he doesn’t have any problems with alcohol or that he believes Alucard when he says he’s fine. The way he says things as if saying them makes them true. ]
Yeah. Sorry to ask this of you, I just- ugh. [ Jotaro told him that Alucard doesn’t like it being pointed out to him that he isn’t human, but ‘not being human’ is exactly what he needs him for. ] I don’t want to get sick, but I- I think I’m going to be sicker if I have to touch someone. Hoping it’s different if you’re not- you know. Shaped like this.
[It reminds him a little bit of how Alucard had done something similar for Jotaro. Giving him an option of someone not shaped like a person, but like the comfort of an animal. It's not really degrading, but he does wonder what goes on in this man's head sometimes.]
Well. ...You want to talk, or vent to a beast, you can. Just as an invitation.
[Without waiting a moment more, he seems to dissolve into mist until it reforms into the familiar shape of a large white wolf, the scar on his chest and golden eyes making it for certain that it is indeed Alucard.]
