It's easy to remember - it's the red, green and blue levels of chartreuse.
[ For a second Hierophant's tendrils snake out to attach him more firmly to Adrian. But no. It's nice, just letting himself be carried. To rely on someone beside himself for this one stupid thing. ]
I made an account for Jotaro so I could donate fish to the aquarium under his name. That one's 229-228-226.
Color levels? That must be newer than I'm used to. I don't know if Jojo told you, but it's the 1400s where I'm from. I'm not entirely up to date on everything.
[He snags his console and decides to return to the couch. The bed would be too tempting to just sleep in, and Adrian has a sleep problem all the damned time.]
Of course. Fish donations. Have you done the fishing tournament under his name yet? The prizes might be things he'd like.
[Anyway, he's plopping back down in order to add both of them to his account!!]
I haven't. I probably ought to. It might convince him that it's not what he thinks it is.
[ He pushes Adrian to the side, trying to get him to lie down on the couch so he can curl their legs together. More contact. More cool vampire body against his. More of the pleasant sensation of moonlacing.
The notification comes up, and he presses it to accept the friend request before taking his slingshot, bringing his cursor down over the flea, and selecting 'use as ammo'. ]
Colour levels are like mixing paints, but for light emitted rather than light reflected. You have red, green and blue lights and you combine them to create a new colour. So for chartreuse, you'd have red at 127 out of 255 - that's about half brightness - and green at full brightness without any blue. For Platinum, you'd have those lights at 229, 228 and 226 out of 255.
[ And while he says that, he takes aim and launches the flea right at Jabbers. ]
[There's a pause as he resists, mostly because he doesn't want to cave in to Kakyoin right away. But laying down would probably be more comfortable for both of them after all, so he shifts to get comfortable horizontally for both of them.]
Why are they given numerical value? For precision?
He thinks it's a sexy animal game. I was just complaining to him about Lizard Quest, which has this princess who has huge breasts despite not being a mammal. And then he starts calling it as sexy animal game.
[ He doesn't press the issue, but he is delighted when Adrian lies down anyway. He curls his legs around Adrian's, tucking himself into the gap between vampire and the back of the couch. There. Perfect. A little enclosed space that's nice and cool. The pleasant sensation of touch becoming moonlacing. He falls still, done with pushing Adrian around for now. ]
Right. The same way paint makers have to keep the recipes the same every time, because you can't have one tube of hooker's green being a different colour from another one. It'd fuck up everyone's work. It's that, but for screens.
